On Rakshabandhan this year, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to help people achieve their dream of owning a home.
On August 19th, DDA will launch three new housing schemes under the slogan “Khushiyon Ka Mile Thikana, Apna Bane Aashiyaana.”
These schemes will offer a range of flats, from affordable options to premium residences, with prices starting at 11.5 lakhs and going up to several crores.
Approved Housing Schemes
The three housing schemes received approval during a DDA board meeting held last Tuesday. Here’s a breakdown of each scheme:
DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme: This affordable housing option is aimed at the LIG (Lower Income Group) and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) segments.
Flats will be priced starting from 11.5 lakhs. These will be available on a first-come, first-served basis
and will be located in Ramgarh Colony, Sirsapur, Rohini, Loknayakpuram, and Narela.
DDA Middle Class Housing Scheme: Also available on a first-come, first-served basis, this scheme offers HIG (Higher Income Group), MIG (Middle Income Group), LIG, and EWS flats.
These flats are located in Jasola, Loknayakpuram, and Narela, with prices starting at 29 lakhs.
There has been no price increase from the previous scheme, so buyers can enjoy these rates during the festival.
DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme: This scheme will use an e-auction process for allotments. Applicants will bid for their preferred flats, which include MIG, HIG, and higher-category options.
These flats are located in Sector-14, Sector-16B, and Sector-19B of Dwarka, with a reserve price starting from 1 crore 28 lakhs.
A total of about 15,000 flats will be available across all three schemes.
In 2023, DDA introduced a special housing scheme during Diwali, which was well-received and resulted in a profit for the authority.
