Airtel, one of India’s largest telecom companies, has once again raised the prices of its three recharge plans.
Last month, the company had announced an increase of 11% to 21% in prepaid and postpaid plans, effective from July 3. Now, it has made its data packs costlier by up to Rs 60.
Increased Data Pack Prices
The three affected recharge plans are Rs 99, Rs 181, and Rs 301. Post the revision, the Rs 181 plan will now cost Rs 211, marking a Rs 30 increase.
This plan offers users 1GB of data daily, which is an added feature compared to other plans.
Recent Price Hikes by Airtel
Following Jio’s price hike announcement last month, Airtel also decided to increase its plan prices. The Rs 179 plan, previously offering 2GB data daily for 28 days, is now priced at Rs 199.
Additionally, the 84-day plan has risen from Rs 455 to Rs 509, while the Rs 479 plan now costs Rs 579, providing 1.5GB data daily for 56 days.
The 84-day plan, originally Rs 719, is now Rs 859. Airtel’s annual plan, previously Rs 1799, now costs Rs 3599, offering 2GB data daily.
