Maruti Suzuki launched the latest Swift in India recently, which quickly became the country’s top-selling car within its first month.
Now, the car is also available at Canteen Stores Department (CSD), where military personnel can purchase it at a reduced GST rate of 14%, instead of the usual 28%.

Powered by a new Z series engine, the Swift delivers improved mileage with the 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder NA petrol engine generating 80bhp of power and 112nm of torque.
It offers a mild hybrid setup and comes with a choice of 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes. The manual variant achieves a mileage of 24.80 kmpl, while the automatic variant offers 25.75 kmpl.

The new Swift prioritizes safety with features such as hill hold control, ESP, new suspension, and 6 airbags across all variants. Additional safety measures include cruise control, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, ABS, EBD, and BA.
