Renowned for their safety features, both Tigun and Virtus have earned a coveted 5-star rating from the Global NCAP in crash tests, further solidifying their reputation among Indian consumers.

Exceeding Milestones: Over 100,000 Units Sold

Celebrating a remarkable milestone, Volkswagen India has surpassed the sale of over 100,000 units of its Tigun and Virtus models in the Indian market.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, expressed pride in the achievement, emphasizing the company’s commitment to prioritizing safe mobility.

The brand’s success is attributed not only to its dedication to safety but also to the loyalty and support of its customers.

Powertrain Overview

The powertrain options for the Volkswagen Tigun offer customers versatility and performance. There are two engine choices available:

1.0-liter Turbo Petrol Engine: Generates a maximum power of 115bhp and peak torque of 175Nm.

1.5-liter Turbo Petrol Engine: Delivers a maximum power of 150bhp and peak torque of 250Nm.

Both engine options come paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, providing a seamless driving experience.

The ex-showroom prices for the Volkswagen Tigun range from Rs 11.70 lakh to Rs 20 lakh for the top model.
