Apple has officially announced the date and schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024.
The event is set to take place from June 10 to June 14. On the first day, Apple is expected to unveil updates to its software, including iOS 18 and macOS 15.

Keynote and Major Announcements
On June 10, the event will kick off with a keynote address. During this presentation, Apple will introduce its latest software updates.
One of the anticipated announcements is ‘Project Greymatter’, an AI tool that integrates directly with your phone.
This tool will enhance apps like Safari, Photos, and Notes, and improve system functions such as notifications.
Additionally, a complete overhaul of the system settings menu in macOS 15 is rumored. As of now, there is no information about new hardware releases.
Developer Sessions and How to Participate
Following the keynote, there will be a special session for developers called ‘Platforms State of the Union’.
This session will offer an in-depth look at the newly announced software. Developers will also have access to online labs, technical assistance, and consultations with Apple experts to help them utilize the new technologies.
To participate, you need to be a member of the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program.
Throughout the week, there will be over 100 sessions and special guides to help attendees understand the new updates and features.
Apple will also invite 50 winners of the Swift Student Challenge to Apple Park for a three-day special event. The winners of the Apple Design Awards will also be announced during the conference.
