Under the hood, the Pulsar NS400Z boasts a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine borrowed from the Dominar 400.
This engine delivers a power output of 39.4bhp at 8,800rpm and a torque of 35Nm at 6,5000rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch.

The design of the Pulsar NS400Z draws inspiration from its predecessor, the NS200, featuring prominent headlights and attractive DRLs and LED projectors.
