WhatsApp Introduces Passkey Support for iOS Devices

WhatsApp is adding a new feature for iPhones called Passkeys. This feature helps you log in to WhatsApp on your iPhone using your fingerprint or face scan, or by entering your phone’s passcode.

This Passkey feature is already available on Android phones. Now, it’s coming to iPhones too.

If you don’t see the Passkey option on your iPhone yet, you can check for updates. If it’s still not there, you might need to wait a bit longer.

What’s a Passkey? It’s a way to make logging in to WhatsApp easier and more secure. With Passkey, you don’t need a six-digit code anymore.

To use Passkey, go to Settings, then Account, and finally Passkeys on your iPhone. But remember, it might take some time for this feature to show up on all iPhones.

Previously available on Android phones, Passkey is now making its way to iPhones, providing users with additional login options.

If Passkey Isn’t Available Yet

If you don’t find the Passkey option on your iPhone, consider checking for updates. If it’s still not visible, be patient as it may take some time to roll out.

Explaining Passkey

Passkey simplifies the WhatsApp login process by allowing users to authenticate via fingerprint, face scan, or their phone’s passcode, eliminating the need for a traditional six-digit code.

How to Activate Passkey

To enable Passkey on your iPhone, navigate to Settings, then Account, and finally Passkeys. Keep in mind that it might take a while for this feature to be available on all iPhones.
