Bajaj is going to launch a new motorcycle in India very soon. They’ve shared a sneak peek of it on social media, giving some details about the upcoming bike. Here’s what we know:
When is it launching? The new Bajaj Pulsar 400 will be officially launched on May 3rd in India.
They announced it in a teaser on social media, hinting at unlocking a new speed dimension on that day. People are expecting it to be the most powerful Pulsar ever introduced in India.
What are its features? The teaser doesn’t reveal much, but it shows the front fender, front wheel, rear wheel, and rear disc brake of the bike.
The alloy wheel design is similar to the one used in the Pulsar N250. There’s a chance it might come with an underbelly exhaust, like the one on the Pulsar NS 200.
How powerful is the engine? While there isn’t a lot of information available yet, it’s speculated to have a 373.3 cc single-cylinder engine,
similar to the one in the Bajaj Dominor. This would give the bike 40 PS power and 35 Newton meters of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
What about the price? The expected ex-showroom price for the Pulsar 400 is around Rs 2 lakh.
It’ll be competing with bikes like the KTM 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310, and Hero Maverick 440 in the market.
