“In February 2024, Hero MotoCorp launched a new motorcycle called the Maverick 440 in India.
This bike is special because it was made together with Harley-Davidson X440, so some parts are similar in both bikes.
Now, Hero has said they’ll start delivering the Maverick 440 from April 15, 2024. Let’s talk about it more.
How much does it cost?
The Hero Maverick 440 comes in three types: basic, medium, and high. They cost 1.99 lakh, 2.14 lakh, and 2.24 lakh.
These prices are just for the bike itself, not including any extra costs. You can book the bike already.
But you can only buy it from Hero’s special shops called Premia dealerships. And if you book it before March 15, you’ll also get a kit with cool stuff worth Rs 10,000.
Speedometer and Bluetooth
The Harley-Davidson is like a big, comfy bike for long rides. The Maverick 440 is different. It’s more like a sporty bike, with a strong fuel tank and a mix of old and new looks.
Hero used metal to make the tank and fenders. And the lights are LED, which are bright. It also has a digital speedometer and can connect to your phone with Bluetooth.
Hero Maverick 440 Engine
The engine in the Hero Maverick 440 is the same as the one in the Harley-Davidson X440.
It gives out 27 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum twisting force of 36Nm at 4,000 rpm.
That’s a bit less than what the X440 can do. But it’s good for city driving because it’s strong at low speeds. It also has a 6-speed gearbox with a special clutch.”
