Federal Bank has launched the ‘Flash Pay’ series of new RuPay smart cards.
This is a unique offering in the industry and is equipped with NCMC technology.
This smart ‘key’ series enables users to make contactless payments at NCMC-enabled metro stations without having to wait in lines to buy metro station-specific tickets or cards.
Customers can make contactless transactions (up to Rs 5000) without needing a PIN.
For transactions above this limit, a PIN is required. The daily transaction limit at any point-of-sale (PoS) terminal is set at Rs 1,00,000.
