Maruti Automated Driving Test Track: Maruti Suzuki, a top car-making company in India, has accomplished something important in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
They shared that they’ve started their first Automated Driving Test Track (ADTT) at the Driver Training and Testing Institute (DTTI) in Ayodhya.
They plan to open four more tracks in UP by March 2024. Rahul Bharti, from Maruti Suzuki, mentioned that with more people visiting Ayodhya, it’s crucial to improve safety.
These new test tracks will ensure only skilled drivers are on the roads.
He also mentioned that they’ve set up similar tracks in Gorakhpur, Mathura, Prayagraj, and Varanasi, in line with their commitment to road safety.
The Ayodhya track was completed in just 45 days after signing an agreement with the UP government in December 2023.
Maruti Suzuki had signed a deal with the Transport Department of the UP government on December 2, 2023, for tracks in Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Prayagraj, and Varanasi.
This new facility can test both light and heavy vehicles on the same track, with a separate area for two-wheelers.
