If you want to make your dream of owning a house on Holi come true, there’s good news for you.
Government banks are offering cheap loans now. The Bank of India (BOI) has reduced the interest rate on new home loans from 8.45 percent to 8.3 percent.
This special offer is valid until the end of this month, March 31st, and there are no processing fees.
The bank says it offers the cheapest home loan. They claim their 8.3 percent interest rate is lower than other banks like State Bank of India (SBI)
and HDFC Bank, which have rates starting from 8.4 percent. This offer ends on March 31st.
Also, the bank is offering a special loan for rooftop solar panels at a seven percent interest rate, with no processing fees.
With the reduced interest rate, the monthly installment (EMI) on a 30-year home loan will be Rs 755.
