Auto Desk, New Delhi. Due to more people using Paytm for payments instead of cash and it becoming really popular, many started using Paytm FASTag. But after a recent decision by RBI regarding Paytm Payments Bank, customers are facing more problems.
Ban starts from March 15
Paytm stopped offering many services from March 15, including Fastag. NHAI removed Paytm as an authorized issuer of Fastag in their updated list. If you still have a Paytm Fastag, what should you do?
Follow the “One vehicle, one FASTag” rule
Many Paytm Fastag users are closing their accounts and getting Fastag from other banks or NBFCs, as per the rule of having one Fastag per vehicle. Also, some customers are worried because they aren’t sure if their Paytm Fastag account has been closed or not.
