IQOO launches New Midrange Smartphone in India (Price & Specs)

This new IQOO phone has been talked about a lot on social media and in the smartphone market lately.

Today, the company finally launched its new midrange smartphone in India.

They released the phone in two beautiful colors, with an AMOLED display, a MediaTek processor, a SONY IMX882 camera sensor, and the latest operating system based on Android 14. Let’s go through the details of this phone.

Specifications of the new phone

Display: The phone has a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen supports HDR 10+, DT-Star2 glass protection,

and has a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits. The display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Camera: It has a dual camera setup with an LED flash on the back. The main camera is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and EIS support.

The company claims it’s the first phone in this price range to have this Sony camera lens.

The second camera is a 2MP depth sensor. The back camera can record 4K video at 30fps.

Front Camera: The front camera is 16MP and supports 1080p video recording.

Processor: It runs on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with G610 MC4 GPU for graphics.

Software: The phone runs on Funtouch OS14 based on Android 14.

Battery: It has a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

Connectivity: Supports 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C.

Price, Sale, and Launch Offers

The iQOO Z9 5G comes in two variants. The first variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 19,999.

The second model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 21,999.

You can purchase the phone from Amazon and iQOO.com. Early access sale for Amazon Prime users starts at 12 noon on March 13, and open sale for everyone begins at 12 noon on March 14.

Users paying with HDFC and ICICI bank cards will get a flat discount of Rs 2000.

Additionally, the phone can be purchased on a no-cost EMI for three months.
