Skoda unveils Kushaq Explorer Edition in India with New Features: See Details

Skoda India has shared their upcoming plans and released a special version of the Kushaq for Indian customers.

This SUV is quite popular and is built on the same platform as Slavia, Virtus, and Taigun, known as MQB A0 IN.

What is special in Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition?

The special version of the Skoda Kushaq, called the Explorer edition, got some upgrades.

It now has tough off-road tires at the front and back called Ultra Mile 44 all-terrain Bull, along with an orange tow hook on the lower part of the bumper.

Other cool things about this car are a special shelf on the roof, dark metal wheels, and extra lights on the sides.

Inside, they didn’t make the engine work differently, but they added a screen that shows important information, a camera that helps when you park backward, and a camera system that lets you see all around the car in the Kushaq Explorer version.

Design update

The outside of the car can be painted in a special green color, and there are orange details on the bottom part of the doors, front protection plate, grille, and front of the car that make it look nice.

The cost of Skoda Kushaq in India begins at Rs 11.89 lakh and can go up to Rs 20.49 lakh at the showroom.

Engine

When it comes to how well it works, the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine makes 109 bhp and 175 Nm of power, while the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of power.

You can get it with a 6-speed manual (which is standard), a 6-speed automatic, or a 7-speed DSG, depending on the version you choose.

The Kushaq is already being sold in India in different versions like Onyx, Monte Carlo, Matte, Elegance, and Lava Blue.

Recently, VW also introduced a special version called the GT Edge Trail of the Taigun.
