Before, only premium users could use this feature, but now it’s for everyone. X CEO Linda Yaccarino shared this update.

You don’t need a mobile number to call on X, and there’s two-factor authentication for security.

Here’s how to enable it:

1. Open X on your phone and tap the direct message icon.
2. Then, tap on the settings icon.
3. You’ll see the option to enable audio and video calling—just toggle it on.
4. Now, you can start making calls!

Also, with X Premium, you can do even more, like edit posts and upload longer videos. Enjoy connecting with audio and video calls for free!
