Kawasaki just introduced a new motorcycle called the Ninja 500 in India. It costs Rs 5.24 lakh if you buy it from the showroom.
This new Ninja joins the Ninja 400 and Ninja 300 bikes in Kawasaki’s collection in India. What’s interesting is that the Ninja 500 and Ninja 400 have the same price.
But we don’t know if Kawasaki will still sell the Ninja 400 after launching the Ninja 500.
They haven’t said anything about that yet. Let’s quickly learn more about this bike.
The Ninja 500 has some cool features. It has a new engine that makes 45bhp power at 9000rpm and 42.6Nm torque at 6000rpm.
It also has a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist function. This bike has a standard look with an LCD display instead of a fancy color screen.
But it still has Bluetooth so you can connect your phone and get information.
The design of the Ninja 500 is like an updated version of the Ninja 400. It looks sharper and sleeker.
Right now, you can only buy it in one color, Metallic Spark Black. But there’s another version called the SE with cool Kawasaki Racing Team colors, although it’s not available in India yet.
Underneath the body, there’s a frame called a trellis frame. The bike has a telescopic fork in the front and a monoshock in the back.
It rides on 17-inch wheels and has a 310mm disc brake in the front and a 220mm disc brake in the back.
The front brake is bigger than the one on the Ninja 400. Ninja fans might really like this bike.
