Mahindra is getting ready to release a new pickup truck based on the Scorpio N SUV. They revealed the concept model last year, called the Mahindra Global Pickup Concept, in South Africa.
The production version of this pickup, based on the Scorpio N SUV, is set to launch in 2025. Last year,
a test model of this pickup concept was spotted, featuring design elements and taillights similar to the Scorpio Classic.
This new pickup, referred to as the Scorpio X, might feature a brand-new mHawk diesel engine and come with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Additionally, it could offer a 4WD system.
Initially, the car will launch in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, MENA countries, and South American countries before arriving in India by late 2026.
We anticipate its price to range from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 22 lakh. It will compete with models like the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
