New Kawasaki Ninja 500 Sneak Peek: Last time it was shown was at a big event in 2023. Now, it’s popping up on Kawasaki’s social media in India, hinting that it might be hitting the roads very soon.
Engine:
The Kawasaki Ninja 500 runs on a special liquid-cooled, 451cc engine. It’s like the heart of the bike, giving it 45.4hp power at 9,000rpm and 42.6Nm torque at 6,000rpm.
This engine is a bit different from the one in the Ninja 400, with a longer stroke, and it works with a 6-speed gearbox that has a special clutch for smooth riding.
Parts:
Just like its Ninja 400 sibling, the Ninja 500 has a strong frame and suspension. It’s comfy for shorter riders too, with a lower seat height compared to other bikes.
When it’s filled with gas, it weighs 171 kg, which is lighter than some other similar bikes.
Special Features and Competition:
In the teaser, it seems to be the Ninja 500 SE version, with cool colors and some fancy features like a modern dashboard and Bluetooth connection.
It also has some features like turn-by-turn navigation and keyless start, which are not common in bikes like this.
The lights on the bike look like the ones on another Kawasaki model from 2024. It’s priced similarly to some other bikes in the UK, and we’ll have to see if it’s the same here in India.
It will be going up against bikes like the Aprilia RS 457, Yamaha R3, KTM RC 390, and BMW G 310 RR.
