- Mahindra Scorpio: It’s the most popular one, with 14,293 people buying it last January. That’s a 64% increase from January 2023 when only 8715 were sold.
- Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: This SUV from Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa showroom comes second with 13,438 buyers last January. Its sales increased by 55% compared to January last year.
- Hyundai Creta: It’s now in third place, with 13,212 customers last January. However, its sales decreased by 12% annually. But with the new Hyundai Creta facelift launched recently, it might reclaim the top spot in February.
- Mahindra XUV700: Another Mahindra & Mahindra SUV, the XUV700, ranks fourth. It was bought by 7,206 customers in January 2024, showing a 25% increase compared to the previous year.
- Kia Seltos: Kia Motors’ Seltos is the fifth most popular midsize SUV in January, with 6,391 buyers. However, the new Creta’s sales have dropped by 39% compared to last year.
