Skoda Auto just announced that they’ll launch the new Octavia car worldwide on February 14, 2024.
They shared some pictures showing its updated style. The new Octavia will have Sportline and vRS versions, as before.
The design has been updated with new bumpers and a grille at the front. The car’s lights have a new design too, using LED technology. Skoda added a special element called Crystallinium inside the headlights, giving them a cool blue color.
We don’t know all the details about the engines yet, but experts think it’ll have options like a 1.5-liter turbo petrol, a 2.0-liter turbo diesel, and a mild hybrid.
There’s also talk about a plug-in hybrid version, like the one in the Kodiaq and Superb models. This plug-in hybrid could have a petrol engine and an electric motor, giving it around 204 horsepower.
Skoda might bring the plug-in hybrid version to India too. They’re also working on an electric version, likely coming after the regular one.
This electric version could have a big battery, giving it a range of over 595 kilometers. There’s a chance they’ll introduce a plug-in hybrid Octavia RS IV in India too.
Along with these, they might also launch the new Superb car and the Enyaq iV electric SUV in the country this year.
