Samsung to start making Laptops in India THIS Year (See Detail)

Laptops are becoming more popular in India, just like smartphones. Especially after Covid-19, when many people started working and kids began studying from home, more people wanted laptops.

This is still noticeable today. That’s why Samsung, a big tech company from South Korea, will soon make laptops in its factory in India.

Samsung laptop plan

Samsung is not as popular as brands like Hp, Dell, Lenovo, and Asus in the Indian laptop market. Most people prefer laptops from these companies.

But now, Samsung wants to become well-known in the laptop market, just like it is in smartphones.

That’s why T.M. Roh, who leads Samsung Mobile Experience, confirmed in an interview with Live Mint that Samsung will start making laptops in India from this year.

This important person from Samsung has said good things about the government starting a factory in India. Mr. Roh mentioned that Noida (where Samsung’s factory is) is the second biggest place for Samsung around the world.

The Indian government stopped bringing in laptops and tablets from other countries in August 2023. But they quickly changed their mind after many people didn’t like it.

The government stopped bringing in things from other countries to make India depend less on them. After this, Samsung decided to start making laptops in India.

Samsung’s future plan

Samsung wants to make more Galaxy laptops and add special Galaxy AI features.

They think people who use fancy Galaxy smartphones will start using Galaxy laptops too.

This new Galaxy AI and other cool features will help Samsung deal with how often people change their laptops.

Samsung wants to give Galaxy AI to more than 100 million people in 2024.

This will make their experience much better. Samsung will make laptops in its Noida plant in India.

It’s expected that the company might produce about 60,000 to 70,000 laptops in India every year.
