What is Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana?
In the plan called Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana, solar panels will be put on the roofs of more than 1 crore houses.
These solar panels will give people their own energy source. The government started this plan to make the energy part more independent.
They want to include poor and middle-class folks in this scheme.

1. This plan is for Indians only.
2. Your yearly income should be no more than Rs 1 or 1.5 lakh.
3. Make sure all your papers are right when you apply.
4. You shouldn’t work for the government.

7. Passport Size Photo
8. Ration Card
How to apply
1. Visit the official Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana website: https://solarrooftop.gov.in/.
2. Click on “Apply” on the main page.
3. Choose your state and district, then provide the remaining details.
4. Enter your electricity bill number.
5. Fill in the electricity cost and basic information, and input details about the solar panels.
6. Measure your roof area and provide that information.
7. Choose and apply the solar panels based on your roof size.
8. Submit the application. After it’s complete, the government will deposit the subsidy amount for installing solar panels into your bank account.
