Maruti Brezza Mild-Hybrid Now Available: Maruti Suzuki, the biggest car maker in the country, has made improvements to its popular SUV, Maruti Brezza, by introducing new mild-hybrid technology.
The company has introduced the top variant of this SUV with mild-hybrid technology, claiming that it will now offer even better fuel efficiency. The new mild-hybrid engine option is now offered in the manual variants of ZXI and ZXI+.
It’s worth noting that Maruti Suzuki had stopped offering the mild-hybrid manual variant in July last year, making the technology available only in automatic variants.
However, manual transmission enthusiasts can now enjoy driving with this special technology that enhances fuel efficiency. Additionally, the company has added some new features to this variant.
Maruti Brezza Price & Mileage:
Maruti Suzuki has set the price for the new Haier ZXI manual variant at Rs 11.05 lakh and the ZXI+ manual variant at Rs 12.48 lakh.
It is reported that the mileage of this new mild-hybrid variant will increase by approximately 2.51 kilometers per liter, resulting in a fuel efficiency of up to 19.89 kmpl, surpassing other variants.
Included Features:
The new variant of Maruti Brezza now includes features such as seat-belt reminders for all seats, a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and hill-hold assist. These additions make this variant even more feature-rich than before.
Engine Details:
The Maruti Brezza features a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system. This engine produces 102 BHP of power and 137 Nm of torque.
It is paired with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The mild-hybrid technology incorporates features like brake energy regeneration, ideal start/stop, and torque assist.
CNG Option:
Maruti Brezza also comes with a company-fitted CNG option, featuring a 1.5-liter engine. In CNG mode, this engine generates 87 BHP of power and 121.5 Nm of torque.
The CNG variants, LXI, VXI, and ZXI, are priced at Rs 9.24 lakh, Rs 10.60 lakh, and Rs 11.99 lakh, respectively, offering a mileage of up to 25.51 km/kg.
