Honda is getting ready to introduce a new motorcycle called NX500 Adventure in India.
They shared a preview of it on social media, and you can now book it by paying Rs 10,000.
The launch is expected either this month or in February, with deliveries starting around February or March.
This motorcycle was presented at the EICMA 2023 event in Italy last year.
The company highlighted some features of the bike along with a teaser photo. It will have a large front cover, all-LED lights, and a big windscreen.
The bike will feature a new 5-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity.
Its suspension includes a 41mm Showa up-side-down fork at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear.
For safety, it comes with a 296mm dual-disc at the front and a single-disc at the rear, equipped with dual-channel ABS.
The Honda NX500 will have the same 471cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine as the CB500X, producing 47.5hp power and 43Nm torque.
The motorcycle’s weight is 196 kg, nearly equivalent to the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and its seat height is 830mm. The expected ex-showroom price is around Rs 6.5 lakh.
This motorcycle is designed for off-roading enthusiasts who enjoy exploring places like Leh-Ladakh.
In the Indian market, it will compete with models such as the New Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM 390 Adventure.
You can book this bike either online or by visiting Honda’s dealerships.
