Chinese tech brand Realme is very popular in India, and many people really like its phones, especially the ones that are not too expensive.
Recently, Realme added some cool features to its phones. These features used to be available only in OnePlus phones, but now, if you have the latest update called Realme UI 5 based on Android 14, you can use them too.
Some of these features are Smart Sidebar and Shelf. They work like a special menu on the side of the screen.
Even if you had a Realme phone before, now you can use these features, and it’s easy to do. Let me explain how.
To turn on Smart Sidebar in RealmeUI
1) Make sure your phone has the newest software by updating it.
2) Open Settings on your phone.
3) Scroll down and tap on ‘Special features.’
4) Choose ‘Smart Sidebar,’ and you’ll start seeing a special menu on your screen.
5) You can even change how it looks if you want.
Now, whenever you want, you can use the Smart Sidebar on your screen.
To use Shelf in RealmeUI
1) Check for the latest software by scanning your phone.
2) Hold your finger on the home screen (where your apps are).
3) Tap on ‘More’ at the bottom.
4) Keep scrolling down and choose ‘Swipe down on Home Screen.’
5) Select ‘Shelf.’
6) Now, when you swipe down on the home screen, you’ll see a new screen with widgets (like little tools).
7) If you want to add a new tool, tap on the ‘+’ button at the top left.
Now you can enjoy using these features on your Realme phone!
