Samsung, a company from South Korea, has brought two new 5G smartphones to India just before the New Year.
These are the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G. The first one is the successor to the midrange Galaxy A23 5G, while the second one follows the existing Galaxy A14 5G in the budget segment.
These phones come with a strong camera and a big display. They will keep receiving Android updates for 4 years and security updates for 5 years.
The new Samsung 5G phones have a Super AMOLED display with Vision Booster technology. The more affordable Galaxy A15 5G also received a significant camera upgrade.
It now features a 50MP triple camera setup with VDIS for better stabilization.
Both phones have a powerful battery with fast charging, but a charging adapter is not included in the box.
Let’s take a look at the specifications of the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A15 5G.
The Galaxy A25 5G has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1000nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy A15, on the other hand, has a similar display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800nits peak brightness.
The Galaxy A25 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 processor with Mali-G68 MP4 GPU, while the Galaxy A15 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor.
Both phones run on OneUI 6.0 software skin based on Android 14. The Galaxy A25 5G features a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A15 5G has a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
Both phones come with a 13MP selfie camera. They are equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging.
Now, let’s talk about the prices. The Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, which falls in the midrange segment, starts at Rs 26,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 29,999.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is priced at Rs 19,499 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage,
and the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage can be purchased for Rs 22,499.
