Amrik Singh, the President of the Punjab State Ministry Allied Services Union (PSMSU), mentioned that the DA would reach 38 percent after this increase.
This decision was made after a meeting with PSMSU representatives where various employee demands were discussed.
The increased benefit will take effect from December 1. Bhagwant Mann shared the news on the social media platform ‘X,’ stating, “Had a meeting today with representatives from the Punjab State Ministry of Allied Services Union to discuss their concerns.
Excited to announce a New Year gift for employees – a four percent increase in DA starting December 1, 2023.”
