Taiwanese vehicle maker Gogoro has just entered the Indian market, making a big impact with its new electric scooter.
This scooter has a unique design and comes with many useful features and ample space. The price will be revealed in 2024, and sales will begin then.
Gogoro is focusing on meeting the needs of business partners, collaborating with companies like Zomato and Swiggy, and branding it as the SUV of scooters.
The Gogoro crossover is available in three versions: the Crossover GX250, Crossover 50, and Crossover S.
The GX250 has a top speed of 60+ km/h and a certified range of 111 km, powered by a 2.5-kilowatt motor.
The Crossover 50 features a 5.0 kW motor, while the Crossover S comes in 6.4 kW or 7.2 kW options.
Currently, the Gogoro network is accessible in Delhi and Goa, with plans to expand to Mumbai and Pune by Q1 2024.
The crossover boasts a steel tubular frame with a 1400mm wheelbase, the longest ever by Gogoro.
It weighs 126 kg, including the battery, and has a ground clearance of 176mm.
The design includes a distinctive headlight on the front apron and an optional rack for carrying luggage on both parts of the scooter.
The back seat can be folded to create a spacious cargo area.
Featuring RSU telescopic front forks, rear shock absorbers, 12-inch wheels, 220mm front and 180mm rear disc brakes, and a mid-mounted motor, the Gogoro crossover also comes with two removable batteries, each weighing 10 kg.
Despite the twin swappable batteries, there is ample storage under the seat.
Additional features include a fully digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, Bluetooth with smartphone connectivity, and more.
