Apple’s Big Changes Coming to iPad Lineup in 2024

In 2023, Apple didn’t release a new iPad for the first time in twelve years. However, they are getting ready to launch new ones next year. They will also stop selling some older models.

Ten years ago, Apple had only two iPad models – a big one and a small one. In the future, Apple wants to offer more options to attract different people and sell more tablets.

Right now, there are different kinds of iPads like Pro, Air, Mini, and the ninth and tenth generation iPads. It seems like it’s time for a change.

The ninth generation iPad might not be available next year. Apple plans to bring out new models.

One change is that the next iPad Air models will have a new M2 chip. The iPad Pro, last updated in 2024, will also get an upgrade.

Apple will stop selling the old ninth generation model, which is two years old and looks different with a home button and thick borders, alongside the new tenth generation model.

Apple will also stop selling the 2015 Apple Pencil because the new iPads won’t have the right port. They will probably announce the new iPad Pro and Air models in March 2024.
