TVS Motor India has introduced the 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V at the Goa Bike Week, and it starts at a price of Rs 1.35 lakh.
This updated version of the bike comes with several improvements, including a new Lightning Blue paint color.
Notable features comprise dual-channel ABS, a large rear disc, and smartphone connectivity with a voice assist feature.
The bike is powered by a 160cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 17.35 horsepower and peak torque of 14.73 Nm. It uses a five-speed gearbox.
In terms of design, the new Apache RTR 160 4V retains its look, with no visible changes.
It boasts a 240 mm large rear disc, three riding modes (Urban, Rain, and Sport), and conventional telescopic fork suspension at the front, complemented by a monoshock unit at the rear.
Regarding features, the bike comes equipped with the standard SmartXonnect feature, including voice assist.
Additional advanced features include turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and a crash alert system. The bike can reach a top speed of 114 kilometers per hour.
Competing with models like Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS160, the new Apache RTR 160 4V is expected to pose a challenge in the market.
The company witnessed substantial sales growth, selling 16,782 units recently compared to 10,056 units sold during the same period last year.
