Kawasaki, a famous Japanese company that makes motorcycles, has introduced a new version of its most affordable bike, the W175 Urban Retro, in India.
The new bike has a classic and old-fashioned look. It costs Rs 12,000 less than the regular W175, but the company has still added some new features.
The W175 now comes with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. This bike was launched at the Indian Bike Week (IBW) in 2023.
Design
Talking about how the bike looks, they’ve made some small changes to the seat height, ground clearance, and wheelbase. Also, the Street model has more parts that are black in color.
Engine
The new Kawasaki bike has a 177cc air-cooled engine that produces 13bhp power and 13.2Nm torque.
The engine works with a five-speed transmission, and the bike has a fuel tank that can hold 12 liters of fuel.
Price
The Kawasaki W175 Street bike is available for Rs 1.35 lakh (excluding taxes). The company mentioned that they will start delivering this model from this month.
The bike comes in two colors: Candy Android Green and Metallic Moon Dust Gray.
Classic Look
The bike has a classic appearance, and for braking, it has a 270mm front disc and single-channel ABS.
Additionally, it features telescope front forks and dual-shock rear suspension. The motorcycle is built on a semi-double cradle frame and has a semi-digital retro-themed instrument cluster.
Bike enthusiasts had been waiting eagerly for the launch of this Kawasaki motorcycle.
