Air India to start Direct Flights between Phuket and Delhi from December 15th

On Friday, Air India, which is owned by Tata, said it will begin direct flights from Delhi to Phuket, Thailand, starting December 15.

The airline mentioned that adding this service to the island is part of its plan to grow in the Far East and Southeast Asia.

The airplane going from the main city to Phuket is called an A320neo. It has 162 seats, with 150 for regular passengers and 12 for business class.

The airline shared that it will begin with four flights every week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

“Flight AI 378 will leave Delhi at 0110 hrs and reach Phuket on the same day at 0710 hrs.

The way back, flight AI 379 will start from Phuket at 0810 hrs and reach Delhi at 1050 hrs (All Local Time),” according to Air India.

Also, they plan to have flights every day starting from January 2024.

“We’re happy to include Phuket in our network. We will make more flights available for people to choose from, both within the country and to other countries.

This helps our customers have more options and supports the growth of the aviation industry.

That’s what Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer at Air India, shared.

Air India has 26 flights to Bangkok each week. There are daily nonstop flights from Delhi and Mumbai, and six flights a week from Kolkata.

The Indian airline works together with Bangkok Airways to help travelers easily connect through Bangkok to and from 10 popular places in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.

People can book flights to Phuket starting today using different ways, such as Air India’s website, mobile app, and travel agents, including those online.
