Six new affordable cars are coming to India soon. They will be in the categories of small SUVs, small cars, and small sedans.
1. Toyota Taisor
The new Toyota Taisor is taking the place of the old Urban Cruiser. It’s basically the Maruti Suzuki Fronx with a few small changes.
These changes include the special fronx design of Toyota, the new bumpers, and uniquely designed wheels.
The inside is getting a new dashboard with different parts and covering. The choices for the engine will stay the same as the Fronx.
2. Tata Punch EV
The Tata Punch EV is coming in two types – one with medium range (MR) and another with long range (LR) – by the end of 2023.
It’s like the Tiago EV or the new Nexon EV and can travel around 200 km to 300 km when fully charged.
There will be some small changes in how it looks compared to the petrol model. The expected starting price is around Rs 12 lakh.
3. Maruti Swift
The new Maruti Swift hatchback might come out in February, and the Dezire compact sedan might be launched in April-May 2024.
They might have a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine with strong hybrid technology. Both cars are expected to give a mileage of 35 kmpl to 40 kmpl.
In the less expensive versions, you can choose a 1.2-liter dualjet petrol engine or CNG.
The expected starting price for Swift is around Rs 6 lakh, and for Dezire, it’s around Rs 6.50 lakh.
4. Kia Sonet Facelift
The new Kia Sonet facelift is coming out in early 2024. It will have design updates inspired by the new Seltos and include 7-8 safety features along with ADAS technology.
It will have some changes, like a new dashboard, a setup with two screens, and a new interior with a 360-degree camera.
The choices for its engine will stay the same as the current model. It’s expected to start at around Rs 8 lakh.
5. Mahindra XUV300 Facelift
The last tests for the new Mahindra XUV300 facelift are happening. It’s expected to be available in early 2024.
You can choose a new 6-speed automatic gearbox instead of the current 6-speed AMT.
The XUV300 will be the first in its group to have a big sunroof. Also, there will be many other new features.
