Assembly elections, also known as Elections 2023, are scheduled to take place this month in November in five states.
These states are Mizoram, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh.
The date when the voting results will be announced in the five states is set for December 3, 2023.
Additionally, if you plan to vote and don’t possess a voter ID, you can still cast your vote.
But in order to vote, your name must be on the voter list, which is also available online.

How to Check If You’re on the Voter List Online
1. Start by going to the official Election Commission of India website (electoralsearch.eci.gov.in).
2. You can find your name on the voter list using three methods: Details (Search By Details), EPIC (Search By EPIC), or Mobile (Search By Mobile).
3. If you choose “Details” (Search By Details), you’ll need to enter your personal and location information.
4. Opt for the “EPIC” (Search By EPIC) option if you have your EPIC number and state information ready.
5. For the “Mobile” (Search By Mobile) option, provide your registered mobile number and OTP.
6. Make sure to enter the captcha code to check if your name is on the voter list.
The government accepts 12 documents as identity cards. If you have documents like Aadhar Card, MNREGA Job Card, Driving License, Passport, and PAN Card, you can vote.
