Submit life certificate through face authentication

Retired individuals can give their life certificate at the bank or post office. But if you can’t go to the bank, you can also do it from home.

The government is helping older people by letting them provide their life certificate through face recognition.

As per the details shared on a social media platform like Twitter, you can easily give your life certificate through face recognition by following just 6 simple steps.

Why is submitting the life certificate necessary?

For millions of pensioners under both the Central Government and State Government throughout the country, it is mandatory to submit a life certificate once every year in November.

Failing to do so means the pension payments will be halted from December until the life certificate is submitted.

The government employs the life certificate to verify whether the pensioner is alive or not.

Here’s how to submit a digital life certificate through face authentication:

1. You need a smartphone first.

2. It’s important to have your Aadhar linked with the place that gives your pension, like the bank or post office.

3. After that, get the AadharFaceRd and Jeevan Pramaan Faceapp on your mobile from the Google Play Store.

4. Next, scan the pensioner’s face.

5. Then, fill in all the pension details.

6. Capture a photo with your front camera and submit it.
