Bank of Baroda, or BoB, has unveiled a new savings account called the “bob Lite Savings Account” on October 27th.
This account offers something special—it’s a zero balance savings account that lasts a lifetime.
The bank has launched this account as part of the festive season celebration, known as ‘BoB Ke Sang Utsav Ki Umang.
‘ The best part is, there’s no need to maintain a minimum balance. Additional features have been included to cater to customers’ needs.
With this account, you can even get a free RuPay Platinum Debit Card for a lifetime by keeping a small balance on a quarterly basis. Some lucky account holders might also qualify for a free lifetime credit card.
Key Features of bob Lite Savings Account
1) Zero balance account for anyone over 10 years old. For single accounts of account holders aged 10-14 years, the maximum daily balance should not exceed Rs 10,000.
2) To obtain a free RuPay Platinum Debit Card, you need to maintain a quarterly balance of Rs 3,000 in metro cities, Rs 2,000 in semi-urban areas, and Rs 1,000 in rural areas.
Failing to maintain this balance will result in an annual penalty. You’ll also receive 30 free check leaves in a financial year.
