Passengers of both Lucknow Metro and Kanpur Metro have shown tremendous enthusiasm for the idea of “celebrating in a train.”
UPMRC was recently honored with the ‘Award for Excellence in Public Transport’ for Lucknow Metro, recognized for providing outstanding passenger services and satisfaction at the Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference 2023 in New Delhi.

Encouraged by this recognition, UPMRC is inviting people to transform the metro train into a ‘mobile venue’ for their special events, be it birthdays or pre-wedding photoshoots.

For those interested in organizing events in metro coaches or station premises, UPMRC is offering these services at very reasonable rates.
For birthday celebrations, attendees need to purchase tokens for the desired time and pay a nominal one-time fee of Rs 500, which will be used for coach decoration.
Cake cutting and photography can be done at designated locations within the Metro premises, promoting a sense of community. Currently, a special discounted rate is available to encourage participation.
Pre-Wedding Shoots for Rs 10,000
Couples looking to capture their pre-wedding moments in a unique setting can do so in Lucknow or Kanpur Metro for a flat fee of Rs 10,000, allowing six to eight hours of shooting time.
Film Shoots for Rs 75,000 and Beyond
Film enthusiasts can utilize the Metro for feature or commercial film shoots, with rates ranging from Rs 75,000 to Rs 2 lakh.
Multiple films, including short films, have been shot in Lucknow Metro over the past year. While Lucknow itself is becoming a sought-after filming destination, Kanpur Metro has yet to host a film shoot.
