Senior citizens aged 60 and above have a window from November 1 to November 30.

The State Bank of India, the country’s largest public sector bank, offers this service. You can access doorstep banking through the DSB app, web portal, or a toll-free number.

Requirements for Doorstep Banking

1) Aadhaar number

3) Linked Aadhaar to your pension-paying bank account or post office account

4) Biometrics

5) PPO number, pension account number, and bank details

What’s the Cost?: There’s a fee for doorstep banking, which varies by bank. Typically, it’s around Rs 70 plus GST. Some banks offer this service for free to senior citizens.

How to Register for Doorstep Banking

1) Download the Doorstep Banking App.

2) Register using your mobile number and verify with an OTP.

3) Provide personal details, address, and select a time slot.

4) The bank will deduct the doorstep banking charge from your account.

5) You’ll receive a service number.

6) The bank will send an SMS with the agent’s details.

7) Your life certificate will be collected at your doorstep.
