Torque Updates Kratos R Electric Motorcycle with Improved Eco+ Mode for Longer Range

Torque Motors has upgraded its popular Kratos R electric motorcycle with an enhanced Eco+ mode.

This update promises to extend the bike’s battery range, benefiting both new and existing Kratos R owners.

The Kratos R’s electric range now surpasses 150 kilometers, a notable improvement from its previous 120-kilometer range.

In IDC mode, the motorcycle boasts an impressive 180-kilometer range. However, in Eco+ mode, its top speed is limited to just 35 km/h. The Kratos R starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 167,499.

Eco+ Mode Focuses on Urban Commuting

The new Eco+ mode is ideal for city commuters who prioritize range over high-speed performance.

It complements the existing riding modes of Eco, City, and Sport. When set to Sport mode, the Kratos R can reach a top speed of 105 km/h.

Additionally, Torque has introduced a reverse mode for added maneuverability, making parking in tight spaces more convenient.

The Torque Kratos R maintains its existing feature set, including a 9kW motor producing 38Nm of torque and a 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack with IP67 certification.

With fast charging capabilities, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in just one hour.

The motorcycle also offers fully LED lighting, a comprehensive instrument cluster, regenerative braking, mobile connectivity, USB charging, anti-theft protection, a front storage compartment, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.

Advanced Features for Connectivity and Safety

The Kratos R includes advanced features such as geofencing, find my vehicle, motor walk assist, crash alert, track mode,

and smart charging. Many features, including multi-ride modes, fast charging, in-app navigation, live dashboard access via Bluetooth, anti-theft safeguards, and geofencing, are provided free of charge.
