Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the highly anticipated Triumph Scrambler 400X bike in India.
You can buy it for Rs 2.63 lakh (the price before any additional taxes or fees).
The appearance of the Scrambler 400X closely resembles that of the Speed 400.
Just like the Speed 400, it is powered by a 398cc engine. The motorcycle comes with a 13-liter fuel tank.
It features the classic Triumph black powder-coated engine casing and front forks with a golden anodized finish.
In the Indian market, it will face competition from models like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Honda CB350.
Triumph Scrambler 400X engine
The Triumph Scrambler 400X has a 398cc engine. It’s a single-cylinder engine that uses a cooling liquid, and it produces 40 horsepower at 8,000 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 37.5 Newton-meters of twisting force at 6,500 RPM.
The engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with a special clutch that makes it easier to use.
For stopping the bike, there’s a strong front brake with four pistons, a big 320mm disc in the front, and a 230mm disc in the rear.
The seat of the Scrambler 400X is 835mm high, and the bike itself weighs 179 kilograms.

The Scrambler 400X has modern LED lights for the headlights, turn signals, and the back light.
It also has a partly digital display for information. You can control the throttle electronically, and it comes with safety features like traction control and a two-channel ABS system.
It has a special clutch that makes it easier to use and a USB-C port.
The Scrambler 400X is made for different types of riding. It has a bigger front wheel, a larger front brake, a wider handlebar, and you can turn the ABS on or off depending on where you’re riding.
It’s designed to handle rough roads, with features like handguards, a brace for the handlebar, a high front mudguard, and a protective grille in front of the radiator.

The main structure of the bike remains the same, but the parts that make it a bicycle have been modified.
The Scrambler 400X comes in three color choices: Green-White, Red-Black, and Black-Silver.
Additionally, Triumph offers 25 more optional accessories that you can add to the bike.
This bike is constructed on a fresh frame, including a separate rear frame piece attached with bolts, and it has a swing arm made of strong cast aluminum.
