What does the five-year maternity policy include?

The new maternity policy offers mothers-to-be more choices for work.

They can work flexibly for 6 months or have a mix of office and remote work for 24 months, but their manager must agree.

They also get one week of required maternity leave. Mr. Irani explained that they made a plan that covers five years.

It includes one year before having a baby, one year when becoming a mother, and then three years after becoming a mother.

This rule will bring more women

Asha Kharga, who is the Chief Brand Officer, said that in our industry, we want to encourage more women to join, and our new maternity policy is a key part of this effort.

The goal of this policy is to give strong help to women during these five years.

What the five-year policy offers

This change is for female employees who have important roles, including those who work on the shop floor.

The goal is to bring and keep more talented women in an industry where men are the majority.

Additionally, the policy offers a 75 percent discount on IVF treatment, daily transportation, and support for pregnant women for one year, including better travel options in the last three months of pregnancy.

How long is the holiday?

The company will let women employees take a break from work for one year without pay if they want to take care of their child.

However, this is only for those who have worked at the company for 36 months.

The company is also providing a policy to help women with their careers when they come back to work after maternity leave.
