In a pleasant surprise for smartphone enthusiasts, Vivo has just lowered the prices of two of its popular models, the Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02T, in India.
These already budget-friendly phones have become even more affordable, thanks to a price reduction of Rs 500.
Shared Features
Both the Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02T offer similar specifications. They are equipped with the MediaTek Helio P35 processor
and come with a robust 5000mAh battery supporting 10W charging. While the Y16 boasts a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor
and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, the Y02T features a single 8-megapixel rear camera. Both phones also come with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Price Cuts
Vivo announced these price cuts through a tweet. The base model of the Vivo Y16, which offers 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, now retails for Rs 10,499, while the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999.
Previously, these models were priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,499, respectively.
For the Vivo Y02T, the 4GB+64GB model now costs Rs 8,999, down from its previous price of Rs 9,499.
Additionally, Vivo is offering no-cost EMI options for select bank cards. You can find these new prices on Vivo’s official online store, Flipkart, and Amazon.
Other Specifications
Apart from differences in camera setups, both phones share the same specifications.
They run on Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, and feature a 6.51-inch HD Plus display with a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera.
Both phones have the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 4GB of RAM, and storage options of up to 128GB.
The price reduction is excellent news for those looking for a cost-effective smartphone without compromising on features and performance.
