AirIndia starts Special Facilities for it’s Passengers at 16 Airports

Tata Group’s airline, Air India, is making travel easier for its passengers.

They’ve trained special officers called Service Assurance Officers (SAOs) to help passengers at 16 major airports in India.

These officers can assist passengers during check-in, in the lounge, near the boarding gate, or when they arrive.

This initiative is part of Project Abhinandan, as reported by IANS news.

Where You Can Get Help?

These officers will be stationed at airports in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Goa,

Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam.

Air India wants to provide personal assistance and make the airport experience smoother for passengers and guests.

If something unexpected happens, like missing a flight, delayed luggage, or a wrong connection, these officers can assist.

Improving the Travel Experience

Rajesh Dogra, Air India’s Chief Customer Experience and Ground Handling Officer, mentioned that airport experiences can be challenging, no matter how often someone travels.

Project Abhinandan is their way of making the airport experience simpler and better for their guests.

They’re always looking for new ways to enhance the travel experience as they strive to make Air India a world-class airline.

It’s worth noting that Air India has made significant decisions recently.

Vistara, an airline in which Tata Group has a major stake, is set to merge with Air India by March 2024.

Vistara Airlines is a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, with Tata owning 51% and Singapore Airlines 49%.
