Govt launches 400 New Electric Buses with Modern Facilities in Delhi

Today, CM Arvind Kejriwal and LG VK Saxena have given 400 new electric buses to the people of Delhi.

These buses are very modern and have special features. They are low-floor buses and have hydraulic lifts, which means even people in wheelchairs can easily get on board.

These buses also have GPS trackers, panic buttons, and CCTV cameras for safety.

The G20 Summit is happening in Delhi from September 8 to 10, and India is hosting it.

To prepare for this important event, the Kejriwal government has introduced these 400 electric buses ahead of time.

Let’s learn more about what makes these buses special.

Special Features of the Buses

These electric buses don’t produce any pollution, and they can travel up to 225 kilometers on a single charge.

This means they can run all day without needing to recharge. They are also fully air-conditioned, so passengers won’t be uncomfortable during hot summers.

The buses even have wheelchairs for people with disabilities to make their journey easier.

For safety, each bus has three CCTV cameras and a panic button, which women can use in emergencies.

There’s also a two-way communication system with a control room.

These buses are equipped with GPS for live tracking and come with disc brakes and a fire detection system for added security.
