Google has introduced a new feature that promises to cut costs when booking flights.
Whether it’s the holiday season or any other time, Google Flights is here to help you snag wallet-friendly flight tickets.
The tech giant announced this feature in it’s official blog post.
Notably, Google Flights, a Google service, facilitates flight ticket purchases via third-party suppliers.
According to Google’s blog,
“If you’re aiming to save on flights, be it for holiday getaways or any time throughout the year, a bit of planning can make a big difference. Often, booking in advance is the smarter move,” especially when your travel plans are less flexible.
However, flight prices frequently fluctuate, and with the right tools, you can often unearth budget-friendly fares.
With Google Flights, lucrative deals are within reach.”
Three strategies to get Cheap Tickets
Enhanced Insights: When searching with reliable trend data, the system will now display the optimal days to book for chosen dates and destinations.
This addition complements the existing feature where users can assess whether current prices for their search are low, average, or high compared to the previous average for the same route.
Price Tracking: Designed for those who prefer to wait for fare reductions, this feature sends automatic alerts when prices significantly drop.
Users can set up price tracking for specific dates or, if flexibility is an option, activate ‘any date’ to discover deals in the upcoming three to six months.
Price Guarantee: Some flight options will showcase a vivid Price Guarantee badge.
This indicates that if the system is ‘particularly confident’ that today’s displayed fare won’t decrease before departure, any difference between the original and the reduced price will be reimbursed to the customer by Google Flights through Google Pay.
