In a bid to enhance convenience for the citizens of the national capital, Delhi, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is launching a new initiative, bringing 23 essential services to people’s doorsteps.
This move eliminates the need for residents to physically visit corporation offices for services such as trade licenses, death certificates, and birth certificates, among others.
The newly introduced doorstep delivery scheme aims to address the challenges faced by individuals while attempting to access these services online.

The doorstep delivery facility will be available from 8 am to 10 pm, providing extended convenience to the citizens.
Affordable Pricing
Services such as health trade licenses, death certificates, birth certificates, renewal licenses, property tax deposits, and more will incur a nominal fee of only Rs 25 per page or license.
Accessible Support
To avail the corporation’s services, individuals can simply call 155035 for assistance.
Delhi Mayor’s Statement
Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi expressed that the successful model of the Delhi Government’s doorstep delivery program, led by Chief Minister Kejriwal, is now being adopted by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
This expansion ensures that citizens who are unable to venture out or face challenges with online processes can access 23 essential services from the comfort of their homes. The proposal for this extension will be discussed in the forthcoming corporation house meeting scheduled for August 31.

Addressing concerns about financial implications, Mayor Shaili Oberoi reassured that this initiative will not burden the corporation financially.
A toll-free helpline number, 155305, has been established for Delhi residents to access these services conveniently.
The doorstep delivery services are set to roll out in October, offering extended hours from 8 am to 10 pm.
For services like health trade licenses, death certificates, and birth certificates, the fee will remain affordable at Rs 25 per page or license.
