WhatsApp, owned by Meta, now caters to a wider user base across various platforms including Android, iOS, and Windows OS.
While there has been no dedicated app for Apple’s Mac operating system, the wait is finally over as WhatsApp introduces its exclusive app for Mac users.
This fresh WhatsApp app, now available for Mac users, enhances communication with group calling capabilities.
Video calls can host up to 8 participants, while audio calls can accommodate up to 32 participants.
Notably, users can join group calls even after they have commenced, a feature aimed at rivaling platforms like Zoom.
Announcement by Mark Zuckerberg
Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, shared insights about this development on his Instagram channel.
He conveyed, “We’re introducing a new WhatsApp app for Mac users.
