Lexus launches Modern Feature-Filled Luxury MPV in India: Check Price and Features

Luxury car manufacturer Lexus has unveiled its latest offering for the Indian market – the LM luxury MPV.

This elegant vehicle comes with a single powertrain option and brings a touch of opulence to the roads.

The Lexus LM shares similarities with the Toyota Vellfire, but it takes luxury to another level.

While both belong to the minivan category, the LM stands out for its enhanced luxury features.

Bookings for this sophisticated MPV have already commenced across India.

Design

Dubbed as “Luxury Mover,” the LM boasts dimensions of 5130 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, and 1945 mm in height.

The exterior has undergone thoughtful updates, showcasing a futuristic profile.

With a triple projector headlight setup and an expansive satin-effect hot stamping grille, the front exudes an imposing presence.

Engine

Both the Lexus LM and Toyota Vellfire are constructed on the same GA-K modular platform.

Under the hood, the LM houses a 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol hybrid engine, yielding 190 Bhp power and 240 Nm torque – a configuration akin to the Toyota Vellfire.

The LM promises an impressive mileage of around 19 kmpl. Inside, the spacious cabin features electrically adjustable captain seats in the last row, adding to the vehicle’s allure.

Interior

Step inside the Lexus LM, and you’re greeted by interiors adorned with premium materials like wood, leather, and high-quality plastics.

The convenience of automatic rear sliding doors and a side ladder simplifies entry and exit.

Notably, the cabin offers a serene ambiance with well-thought-out lighting. Passengers in the 4-seater version can relish a 48” ultra-wide rear entertainment screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio – akin to high-end gaming monitors.

The rear seats, equipped with variable suspension, ensure superior comfort.

Additional features include separate audio outputs for different cabin sections, heated ottomans and armrests, as well as rear climate concierge.

Price

As for the pricing, the Lexus LM is expected to be positioned above the Toyota Vellfire, which recently hit the market within the Rs 1.2 crore to Rs 1.3 crore range.

Competing against vehicles like the Toyota Vellfire and Volvo XC90, the LM provides a choice for discerning buyers.

Notably, the XC 90 is equipped with a 2.0L petrol hybrid engine.

In summary, the introduction of the Lexus LM MPV to the Indian market brings together modern luxury and innovative features, creating a unique driving experience for those seeking opulence on the roads.
