Travelers without spare cash can now utilize UPI (Unified Payments Interface) for ticket payment across all Noida Metro stations.
This innovation ensures quicker transactions and eliminates concerns about exact change.
UPI Payment Option for Seamless Ticketing
Lokesh M, Managing Director of NMRC, inaugurated the UPI payment service at Sector 51 metro station.
Passengers can now conveniently use UPI for purchasing metro tickets.
The UPI payment facility is operational at all stations along the Noida-Greater Noida Metro route.
Traditional methods like cash, credit/debit cards, and NMRC smart cards will still be available for ticket purchases at customer service centers.
Convenient Service Across Noida Metro Stations
The Aqua Line, connecting Noida, Greater Noida, and Gautam Buddh Nagar, spans 29.7 km and encompasses 21 stations.
This modern transit system, costing Rs 5,503 crore, now offers commuters the ease of UPI payments, enhancing their overall travel experience.
